Our mission is to design and develop buildings that hold exceptional value.
We believe that the value of good design can be garnered five ways:
1. Exchange Value
We believe strongly that well-designed buildings maintain value. In an upswing real estate market, all property rises in value as demand surges. The availability of inexpensive money to broad classes of buyers allows all levels of property quality and design to gain without prejudice. The buildings built based on the lowest possible cost keep pace with buildings built with extra measures of design quality. These design qualities can be in the form of extra efficiency and architectural originality.
The benefit of better design reveals itself when the market levels out or suffers deflation. In these conditions, the only buyers left are ones that are financially strong and not solely dependent on credit.
