Our method of using the past, present, and future as a theme in design adds
character and roots into our architecture. We want our guests and clients to feel
interested and inspired in our buildings.
The Past - We try to recognize what the land was used for originally. This may
be accomplished through pictures of prior buildings and documented history from the area.
We try to use architectural salvage from the prior buildings where possible.
The Present- The building will be planned and designed for the current
intended use in mind. Local activities such as fishing or surfing
will be used in the decorating theme.
The Future -Through flexibility in use, technology and energy-saving
designs, our buildings will perform well into the future.

Proposed Youth Retreat
The design for this development includes housing for over 100 people. Its dorm style layout features a commercial kitchen, media room, library, game room, conference space and administrative offices. The theme is to include the history of the lifeguard service and surfing. Its use would be for working students, youth retreats, sports teams, etc. Our objective is to provide a facility that allows inexpensive housing on an individual basis.
This building requires R4 zoning; its intended site is currently R2. We
were unsuccessful in a recent rezoning application so the project is on-hold at this time. |

The Catalina Manor of North Myrtle Beach is the most recent of our projects currently under construction. It features compelling design and construction that combine form and function for a truly eclectic experience.

Presently in the conceptual stage of development is the exciting Myrtle Beach area theme-based project – the Mahalo. Filled with a wealth of innovative ideas in design and features, the proposed mixed-use building will accommodate selected commercial businesses on the lower level and creatively designed condominium apartments on the upper levels.

The Ocean Surf Club is the first deluxe group accommodations designed by the M.G. Baldwin Development Group. It combines the best amenities of beach houses, condos and hotels with seventeen interconnecting super suites, and is available for groups of up to one hundred guests.

The Sandcastle Cottage was one of the original buildings remodeled by the M.G. Baldwin Development Group. The dilapidated beach house was refurbished to include signature items for durability and design - all wood panel walls, stainless steel kitchens, unique beach and sea life artifacts and sculptures, and more.
